Howdy
and thanks for dropping by my small piece of cyberspace. First
of all let me thank my mom who had the good sense to see that
I was born in the great state of Texas.
We, (my mom,
dad, brother John and I moved from Texas when I was only
12 years old to southern California (Santa Barbara),
where we stayed for one year and then moved on to Santa
Monica, where I grew up. I think I grew
up...............I'm still trying to figure that one
out.
I went to
Santa Monica High School (didn't graduate) and soon
after I got the best job of my life, working for Carroll
Shelby, building Cobra Race Cars. That's where I learned
to really "Drive a race car" from some of the best in
the world at the time, like Bob Bondurant, Carroll
Shelby, Ken Miles, Bob Johnson of Texas and of course,
Phil Hill.
That job led
me into the movie business and I quickly became a
stuntman, thanks to my boss at the time, Don Pike. ( I
didn't have any brains at that point, but, I didn't
care. As I "grew up", oh there I go again, I was
fortunate enough to learn some of the different aspects
of the picture business. I decided that I really loved
the camera department and I became a camera assistant
and eventually an operator.
Today, I
live on a 600 acre ranch in Simi Valley, Ca. where I own
a horse boarding business with 32 head of horses. Not
doing stunts any more, I decided to stay in the business
and am currently doing voice over work. It's a lot of
fun a I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn, work
till dark, then drive home dog tired.
I still do
on camera work, such as commercials, television and
feature films. I have a real nice hi-def movie camera
package and will be shooting a short film next month
(October). Please click any one of the links to read
more about what I do. Thanks a bunch.
